    Michael Sikorsky

    Michael has been called an "Internet Revolutionary" by Profit magazine, and a "CEO to watch" by CNN Money. In addition to speaking at conferences throughout the world, he has also spoken at Harvard Business School, MIT, and Stanford.

    Michael has raised over $10 Million dollars for his ventures, won a national elevator pitch contest, is an innovator, holds a patent related to rendering, and sold his last company to ThoughtWorks when he was 28.

    He is an reasonably active angel investor with portfolio companies across North America.

    Michael's current company (#6 and hopefully last) is Robots and Pencils. R&P makes things for the iPhone, Web, and Desktop.

    Michael's last company, Cambrian House, was his 5th startup and has been called a "national treasure in the Web2.0 space, constantly pushing the boundaries in all that they do". Recently, it was selected as the #4 best Web2.0 company across Canada by Backbone Magazine (Globe and Mail) and KPMG.

    Enrique Godreau III

    Enrique has 25 years of experience in the information technology industry. Enrique's primary focus is in digital media and wireless businesses. He has been involved with the boards of over a dozen companies including aQuantive, Attenex, and CapitalStream and currently serves as a director of 1020, Global Market Insite, GoAhead Software, Keystream, Ontela, and Zebra Imaging. In 2008, the National Association of Corporate Directors awarded Enrique the Northwest Region Private Company Director of the Year award.

    Prior to co-founding Voyager Capital in 1997, Enrique held senior roles with Gartner, Adobe, and Aldus. Enrique began his career with Xerox including seven years on the research staff of its Palo Alto Research Center (PARC).

    Anthony Lee

    Anthony Lee is a General Partner of Altos Ventures, focusing on software and Internet investments. Anthony currently serves as a director of CrownPeak, Demandbase, GuardianEdge, Koofers,Netbase, Roblox, ScoutMetrics and Xignite. He also serves as a board observer with several other Altos-funded companies.

    Before joining Altos Ventures in 2000, Anthony led marketing efforts for three start-up companies. He served as Vice President of Marketing for Evolve (EVLV, later acquired by Primavera) where he developed and executed a turnaround strategy that positioned Evolve as the leading provider of professional service automation (PSA) software and resulted in a successful IPO. Anthony also served as Vice President of Marketing for social search pioneer Clip2.com and co-founded Signature Wines, a national distributor of private-labeled wines. Previously, Anthony was a strategic consultant at McKinsey & Company, where he worked with clients in the telecommunications and pharmaceuticals industries.

    Anthony serves as a director and Treasurer of TechSoup Global, the world's largest non-profit distributor of computer software and hardware. Anthony is a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a charter member of the Pacific Council of International Policy. He is a founding member of the Full Circle Fund, a venture philanthropy group based in San Francisco. Anthony received his MBA from Stanford University and earned a BA in Politics and Economics from Princeton University.

    Michael Volker

    Michael C. Volker is an Entrepreneur active in the development of new high technology ventures. A University of Waterloo Engineering grad, Mike started his own company (Volker-Craig Ltd) in 1973. He sold this company in 1981 and then decided to work with entrepreneurs in building new companies. Since coming to B.C. in 1988, he has continued this work as Executive Director of the B.C. Advanced Systems Institute and presently as director of Simon Fraser University's Industry Liaison office. Check out his latest project: WUTIF - the Western Universities Technology Innovation Fund - an "angel" fund for start-ups. To further encourage tech entrepreneurship, Mike is also quite active with New Ventures BC - an annual business competition.

    Dimitri Sirota

    Dimitri Sirota is an accomplished entrepreneur and a pioneer in the security field. Prior to co-founding Layer 7 Technologies, Dimitri co-created the award-winning Virtual Private Network provider eTunnels Inc. Dimitri spearheaded its early marketing and business development activities, establishing eTunnels as a leader in secure connectivity for the extended enterprise. He has also worked in senior product marketing and channel development roles at AT&T and Telus. Dimitri holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from McGill University and a Master of Science in Engineering Physics from the University of British Columbia.

    John Stokes

    John Stokes is Managing Partner and a co-founder of Montreal Start Up, a seed stage VC based in .... Montreal! MSU has invested in ten start-ups since it's launch in 2008 and John serves on the boards of six of them - KeenKong, Oneeko, Book Oven, Beyond the Rack, Emotify and Mobilize Central.

    John has significant international experience having spent ten years in Asia/Pacific as both a founder of, and investor in, start-up and early stage software and media companies.

    He cut his teeth in the mobile industry as a start-up specialist, establishing regional operations for global corporations in New Zealand, India, Taiwan, China, Philippines, South Africa and Australia. With a lot of experience and some success under his belt, John went on to co-found two companies in Tokyo, Japan (Livedoor Inc. and Vogue Planet; acquired by FremantleMedia) . In his role as Chief Operating Officer for Livedoor, Japan’s first free Internet Service Provider, John took responsibity for the securing of venture capital investment to the tune of $US30 Million, which at the time was the largest ever investment in a Japanese start-up entity.

    In June 2000 he founded Piermont Ventures; a Hong Kong based boutique investment and advisory business with a focus on media and technology. Piermont Ventures made early stage investments in companies such as Forte Communications (GSM Messaging solutions; acquired by Bulletin.net), RoamAD Holdings (Wi-Fi Mesh infrastructure; acquired by Xiocom Wireless Inc)) and QuietAgent.com (Online recruitment software).

    John is a citizen of the UK and New Zealand, has lived in Montreal since early 2007 .... and speaks terrible french.
